Mentoring Process

Mentoring, an initiative pioneered by the ICFAI Law School is the process of establishing the professional relationship between the mentor and the mentee. Designed for providing the hand-holding to the mentee for his/her career development and goal setting, it’s a great experience for the students to calibre their skills to meet the academic & professional requirements.

Students at ICFAI Law School Hyderabad are allotted a mentor for every group to guide him/her throughout his/her journey at the law school. The student can approach the mentor with any problem or seeking any kind of information. The mentor acts as a conduit between the student and the processes of the institution. Mentorship may be regarding both academic and non-academic pursuits such as staying in the campus, medical issues, co-curricular activities and internships. Regular mentor-mentee meetings are conducted to address student issues. Concerned parents are also encouraged to stay in touch with the mentor of their ward and to not hesitate contacting in case any help is needed. The mentee’s progress is also aided by the mentor in a professional manner.

Mentors also act as faculty guides for the students in the duration of their Legal Internship Programmes and coordinate with the student and project guide in successful completion of the internship, writing of a project report, submission of requisite documents and facilitating the overall process at the end of each academic year.

Students can find information and contact details of their respective mentors by logging in to the student portal. The values of the mentorship process remain steadfast throughout the learning years of the student.
