Over the years IBS Bangalore has built an enviable relationship with industry leaders and reputed corporates. The industry connect is further enhanced by nearly 8,000 of our Alumni who are working in leadership positions in top companies and who have also pursued entrepreneurship. They maintain a strong connect with their alma mater.

To foster a continuous interaction with industry, CMC has institutionalised two initiatives:

• Executive Exchange – Top industry leaders and subject matter experts are invited for fireside chats. This not only helps the students learn about various industries and their specific requirements, but also enables the industry leaders to get to know the future generation of managers.
• ConnectX – This is our Alumni insight series. Distinguished alumni of IBS Bangalore are invited to present their growth story, which can inspire the current students. This not only strengthens the bond between alumni and institution, but also helps the students in networking with their seniors.

Both of these initiatives have been highly appreciated by student, alumni and industry leaders. Apart from this, we engage with leading corporates to foster strong industry academia interaction including - guest lectures, symposiums, HR conclaves, event sponsorships etc.

Career Management Centre

IBS, Bangalore has a strong Career Management Centre (CMC) that plans and implements the placement activities throughout the year. CMC is headed by Deputy Director – Corporate Relations and consists of Placement Managers, Counsellor and Support Staff. It is the endeavour of CMC to provide all support to our recruiters for a fruitful and pleasant placement process at our Campus.

Placements

• IBS Bangalore has an impeccable track record of achieving excellent placements every year, with top companies visiting the campus to recruit talent. IBS Bangalore has adopted a very systematic approach towards building the careers of students.
• Every Student has to undergo a rigorous 12 weeks of Summer Internship Program (SIP) to gain practical understanding of the professional requirements pertaining to their selected specialisation. During this period, they are mentored by an Industry Guide from the Company and a Faculty Guide from IBS to ensure they can blend both practical and theoretical aspects to gain better knowledge through practice.
