The functioning of the student clubs is overseen by Professor Madhavi Garikaparthi. Guiding and motivating students comes naturally to Prof Madhavi. The activities of each club are managed by the students under the guidance of a Faculty Mentor.

This club covers two areas: social awareness and women development. Club Aaina organizes an awareness event for the incoming batch on how to reduce wastage in creative ways, using the 3R paradigm: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The club also organizes various drives like “No food wastage drive” and “Donation Drive”. Aaina and the Center for Women Development work together to organize the “National Women Conference” where great speakers share their thoughts on women empowerment. Aaina organizes student visits to various NGOs, old age homes, orphanages and pet shelters around the city.The flagship event of Aaina is a panel discussion called “Aashayein”. Read More

The official Advertising & Branding Club, imparts the knowledge and skills required for successful advertising and creative branding. The club’s flagship event, JUARI brings branding alive by wrapping it in fun and games.

Convergence

The motto of the official HR Club is “With us it is always you first”. The club organizes various events which address the needs of the budding HR Professionals.

The Official Rock Band of IBS Hyderabad aims to rejuvenate and recharge students through music

Dot Club

The Official Techno-Managerial Club of IBS conducts various events in partnership with Finshiksha. It also prepares a timetable for the new batch, conducts introductory fun events, induction classes, online quizzes and KYC sessions. It also conducts technical workshops on a range of topics. The Dot Club is also the technical partner to many other events being organised by other clubs.

Ecobizz

Is the official Economics, Business and Public Policy Club. The most celebrated event of Club Ecobizz is “IBS Mun” where the students attempt to address issues of global significance. Another noteworthy event of the club is “Rajneeti” based on a mini representation of the Indian Political System and is one of its kind in the country.

FinStreet

The Capital Markets Club encourages students to develop sound knowledge of Finance and the Economy. The club consists of three verticals namely, Vriddhi Research, Trividha R.E.D. and IBS Times. Vriddhi Research supports India’s 4th largest Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) which is managed by IBS Hyderabad students. The vertical also publishes sector and company specific research reports. Trividha R.E.D. is responsible for conducting various events like Over the Counter trading, financial games and also imparts knowledge in fundamental and technical analysis in the stock markets for investment decisions. Gray Matters Club

Broadens the horizon of students by conducting quiz and imparting knowledge in a playful and energising way. The club apprises the students of the momentous happenings of the week around the world.

IBS Analytics Club

Attempts to develop the analytics skills of the students. The Club conducts domain classes related to Business Analytics and also teaches the practical use of analytical tools such as R, Python, SPSS, Google Analytics, etc. The flagship event of the club is Trikona- an analytical fun game. The club also conducts Guest Lectures, Management Discussions and publishes a bimonthly Magazine - ‘Analyzia’. Read More

Is the central platform for delivering information to all the students within the campus and acts as a digital notice board for IBS Hyderabad. The Club is a promotional partner for the events, guest lectures and flagships of other cubs within IBS Hyderabad. KRIYAVAT hosted by the club is one of the most awaited events of the year. The club shares daily News, company profiles and success stories of business tycoons. Read More

IFHE Blues

This is the official water sport club of IBS. It is responsible for organizing various inter-college and intra-college swimming pool events. It has a collaboration with GHAC for organization of an international event “Triathlon”. Other domestic events include water polo, splash dunk. The flagship event of the club is ‘Endurathon’ in which participants have to swim for 200 meters followed by 5 kilometres of cycling and 2 Kilometres of running. Read More

Infinity Studios

The official Entertainment club provides students with various sources of entertainment through the year. The club organises several events ranging from Bollywood themed quizzes, DJ nights to Videography challenges that emphasise on bringing out the creativity in all. The club’s flagship event is BIOSCOPE where many other clubs/cells/societies exhibit their unique ideas in the form of a short film. This is followed by the Infinity Studios Award Ceremony. Kaizen stands for Continuous Improvement. The club organizes and conducts Conclaves, Panel Discussions, Guest Lectures, Industrial Visit and Events in the domain of Operations Management. Every year, Club Kaizen organizes SANKRIYA (National Operations Fest of IBS Hyderabad), TRI-event (3 day Interclub Event), OPERA ( Case based event) and a flagship event - BLACKOPS ( A Tribute to the Indian Armed Forces). The Official Entrepreneurship Cell conducts incubation classes, design thinking workshops and brain storming sessions. Many Maçonites have become successful entrepreneurs with startups like Shared Mobility, Smart Glove, Riot Enterprise, One Touch crafts, Teerex store, Poster Maniac, Uncover Me, E-Mandi and many more.

Managers Without Borders (MWB)

This is a Student Chapter of Managers without Borders-India, a non governmental organisation (eNGO) under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001. MWB aims to bridge the gap between various stake holders in the nation building process by building a wide network of students and professionals. The club believes that the 5 Es - Economy, Energy, Employment, Environment and Entrepreneurship are the pillars for up-lifting world architecture and development. MWB is a Guinness World Record Holder for the Longest Mobile Chain. It is one of the youngest NGOs in South Asia to reach the finals in e-NGO challenge South Asia Awards in 2015. The Official Marketing and Strategy Club helps students to make their mark in the marketing field. The club’s motto is “Socho – But Zara Hatke”. Maverick organizes Resurge 6.0, which challenges the participants to revive fallen businesses, Impulse 6.0, which gives a real-time sales experience to the participants and. Carnival 2020, which is themed around Christmas and Game of Thrones. Maverick also publishes an online edition of their annual magazine Niche 2020. Read More

Money Matters Club (MMC)

This club imparts knowledge in BAFT i.e. Banking, Accounting, Finance & Taxation. The club also publishes its very own “News Bulletin” and “Gyanpath” with a reach of over 50,000 readers all over the world. MMC conducts classes called “Gyandose” specially for Juniors based on domain Accounting & Financial Management. Their Flagship 3 day event is an online quiz called “REDUX.” Read More

Moving Mannequins (MM)

Is the Official Fashion Society. This is an amalgamation of style, art, creativity and glamour. The club’s mission is to merge fashion with management, from designing garments to choreography, the moves of models, to walking the ramp and owning it. MM has won prizes in leading B-School fests across the country.

Nazaria

The Official Photography Club enables students to pursue their passion of photography in different ways. Members of the club click more than 30,000 pictures per year. The club hosts two major annual events FRAMES, a photo exhibition of pictures clicked by the member of the club and “Spotlight”. The club consists of Tasveer, the technical wing, and a client servicing wing named Nstudios which enables budding photographers to show their talent to the outer world. Read More

The Official News and Media Portal projects the dynamic activities of the IBS campus in a mindful and sublime way. The mission is to work in tandem with other clubs/cells/chapters/committees / societies to enable students to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the events happening in and around the college campus. The Club has successfully conducted several interviews of eminent dignitaries visiting the campus and posted them on the IBS social media handles. Read More

Prakriti

The Official Nature and Adventure club, aims at the implementation of sustainable solutions, through nature, conservation and adventure related experiences. Club Prakriti is also into adventure sports like trekking, rappelling, camping and cycling. Snake-o-pedia is the flagship event in which an NGO called “Friends of snakes society” displays different types of venomous snakes and non-venomous snakes. The club also organises plantation drives. Devil’s circuit, scavenger hunt, rush hour and maze runner. Human Foosball and Footpool are the most loved fun events conducted by Prakriti. Read More

The Official Inter B-School and Corporate Events Club enables students to represent IBS Hyderabad at different B-School and Corporate events. Prayaas has been judged the Best Managed Club for the last three years. ‘C-Suite’ is the flagship event and involves a boardroom challenge for students. Samavesh

The Official Cultural Club of IBS, with a strength of 300 members has been celebrating cultural diversity for almost a decade now. Its flagship event is Sanskriti. The theme of the event is unity in diversity. Starting from Aaghaaz and Independence Day, then Dandiya Night and Jashn-e-Diwali, these festivals are celebrated by one and all.

Sankalp

The Official Leadership and Nation Building club motivates members to work towards the betterment of society as a whole. The activities include CSR activities like awareness programs, guest lectures, workshops, blood donation campaigns. The club also organises ‘Megistanos - the Best Manager Hunt’ which is the flagship event of IBS inter-college fest ‘Trishna’. It also organizes other major events like Magnate and Drishti to enable students develop managerial skills. SpeakUp

The Official Public Speaking, Soft Skills and Debating Club helps students develop their public speaking and other communication skills and makes them ready for the corporate world. The Club organizes the ‘IBS Dialogue’ which officially introduces all the clubs to the freshers. The flagship event of the club is The Great Debate.

Team V.A.P.S

Is the official sports and fitness club formed in 2005 and manages all the sports activities on the campus, including International Yoga Day, Racqattack, Azaadi Match for women, etc. VAPS Super League (VSL) is one of the largest football tournaments in the college. IPL (ICFAI Premier League) is the ultimate cricket championship. The flagship event of VAPS is AAVEG which is a national level B-school sports fest. Read More

The official drama club motivates students to speak up on critical social issues and contribute their bit towards change. The flagship event of the club is “MALANG”, a platform where members from different clubs showcase their hidden talent to honor the stage. XpressionZ Theatre Society has won Street Play and Stage Play Competitions conducted by top B-Schools. The club also organizes a National Level Street Play Competition featuring other reputed B-Schools. Read More

Trishna

Trishna is the annual management fest of IBS Hyderabad that provides the best combination of knowledge and fun. Trishna 2o21 made history by being conducted online for the first time! Every year, Trishna has a unique theme. This year the theme was “SPYMIESTER - Detect, Analyze, Decipher”. Combined with the domains of all the clubs, the result of the various events was fantastic to say the least! This year Trishna was conducted for 5 days, from 6th January to 10th January 2021. The preparations for Trishna 2021 started from November with a contest for the students to decide the theme. The theme finalized was ‘SPYMIESTER’ Then the juniors were inducted into the different verticals, Editorial, Digital, Events, Operations and Sponsorship of the Core Committee, headed by Prof. Madhavi Garikaparthi. Each of the clubs was asked to come up with different events under 4 categories - MAJOR, MINOR, FUN and FLAGSHIP. Presentations were conducted by the Core Committee with each club presenting their respective events. There were almost fifty plus events conducted over a period of 5 days. During Entrepreneurship Week, students from reputed colleges across India come together to celebrate entrepreneurship. E-Week incorporates various guest lectures, design thinking workshops, Idea generation platform, Business Plan Competition, Panel Discussions and one on one sessions with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and start-up Founders. An online national level Inter B-School competition powered by Dare2Compete attracts more than two thousand entries from reputed institutions all over the country.

AAVEG

Is one-of-its-kind, Inter B-School Sports Fest which sees an enthusiastic participation of more than five hundred management students . Competitions on all the major sports – outdoor & indoor are conducted.

Sankriya

Sankriya is a National-level B-School Operations Fest conducted every year. The fest sees guests from different field of expertise sharing their experience and knowledge to the budding future managers in the domain of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. The fest also includes a simulation games, based on the Supply Chain Management and Inventory Management and research based presentation on the topic of Operations Management and Business Risk Mitigation Plan. Endurathon

Endurathon is a endurance sport event. It is a miniature version of Triathlon race, comprising of 200m of Swimming, 10 km of Cycling and 5 km of running with two segments viz. Individual (Male/Female) and Group Relay. The event is conducted in association with Greater Hyderabad Adventure Club (GHAC).

C-Suite - The Boardroom Challenge

Is an Inter B-School Management competition where the teams have to work on the day-to-day challenges that are seen in corporate boardroom. It is one-of-a-kind boardroom challenge which happens only in a few B-Schools across India. Trithi – An inter-college fest for undergraduate level which has various co-curricular and extracurricular competitions.
